Mr. Shivakumar graduated from BITS-Pilani, belongs to the 1995-98 M.Phil. batch of Physician Assistant and prior to that B.Sc. degree with specialization in chemistry from Loyola college, Chennai. He had a long stint in Madras Medical Mission till 2008. During this period he was involved in clinical assessment of congenital and acquired heart diseases, management of post-operative patients in ICU and handling emergencies.. He has participated and has been a team leader for many cardiac screening camps across South India during his decade long clinical career. He has presented papers in scientific conferences and also been part of the academic work of the department. He was also in-charge of the induction program of Madras Medical Mission which gives a bird’s eye view to prospective students who will be pursuing the PA program. He has been the instructor in-charge for students during their clinical postings in Paediatric cardiology and has been on the board of studies for 3 years. In 2005, he organised the Physician Assistant day celebrations, for the first time in India.

The flair for administration made him to do an MBA with specialization in HR from IGNOU, New Delhi. He then took up hospital administration and has worked in leading corporate hospitals for over a decade now. During the course of this journey he completed Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Law and Ethics from National Law School of India University. He played a major role in setting up of the cardiac unit in Fortis Malar Hospitals. He has worked with the McKinsey team for reducing turnaround time, patient and employee satisfaction and was instrumental in setting up a stroke institute in Apollo Hospitals.

In 2013, he took over as the president of Indian Association of Physician Assistants and has been successful in bringing the Physician Assistants across the country under IAPA. Three state chapters have been formed. Annual scientific conferences are conducted which are on par with other major conferences across the world. He was instrumental in establishing network with all the leading PA associations across the world. He was invited by International Academy of Physician Associate Educators (IAPAE) as a keynote speaker in their conference conducted in Lusaka, Zambia in 2018.Certification examination for cardio-vascular PAs by Indian Association of Cardiovascular surgeons (IACTS) was started. He became the task force lead for curriculum standardization established by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India in 2014 and with effective advocacy has ensured government recognition in March 2021.

Ms. Debi Chatterji S. has graduated her B S., M.PHIL .,MBA (HA). Currently she is working as a senior Liver Transplant Co-Ordinator and Clinical Research Associate, Advanced GI at Hepato-Pancreatico-Bilary and Liver Transplant Services, Choithram Hospital and Research Centre, Manik Bagh Road Indore, MP.

Ms. Nalla Swapna, is currently working as a Specialist Physician Associate in the Department of Cardiology and Electrophysiology at AIG hospitals, Hyderabad. She previously worked in CARE hospital, Hyderabad for more than a decade [Dec 2006 till Oct 2019].

She is currently the Vice-President of Indian Association of Physician Associates (IAPA). She was also been the Head of Scientific Committee for Annual conference IAPACON 2022, New Delhi. She was also a Teaching Faculty for various workshops, CMEs and Annual conferences.

She graduated her BS. Physician Assistant program from Madras Medical Mission – BITS (2002-2006). And, she completed a postgraduate diploma in health care management. She also has completed Good Clinical Practices by NIDA clinical Trial Network. She is a certified Cardiac Rhythm Device Specialist from IHRS-ICDSTP (Indian Heart Rhythm Society –Cardiac Rhythm Device Specialist Training Program). Also certified Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) specialist.

She has received a Gold medal for the BS Physician Associate course for the highest GPA of 9.85 and received many more awards like Best associate award, Performance Excellence award and Appreciation awards at every workplace. Her achievements were published in Achiever’s column in Physician Assistants Generating Excellence (PAGE) Magazine – August 2017.

She has some national and international publications to her credits and bagged awards for research papers in all the conferences she has presented. The list includes 5 Gold medals in the best paper category, 2 Silver medals in the second- best category, and awarded twice with Jalaja Memorial Award for the best poster.

She has received the ‘BEST NATIONAL PA AWARD’ for the year 2018 from the renowned Cardiac Surgeon and Founder of the PA program in India, Shri Padmashree Dr. K.M. Cherian. She has been Invited as a Faculty at 15 TH Asia Pacific Heart Rhythm Society (APHRS) scientific session at Singapore in November, 2022.

Srividhya Hariharan is currently attached with Nishta neuro Diagnostic Centre as senior Physician associate. She is also the consultant Nutritionist at Smrthi Health Care. Previously worked at ICVD, Madras Medical Mission in the Coronary Care Unit. She has been into publishing prize winning articles in IHJ. Presently into the Holistic approach in the therapy and prognosis of Paediatric and Specially abled children and has a keen interest in child development & family health and nutrition.

Actively associated in conducting seminars on Integrated Nutrition for various socially active institutions and keenly interested in standardizing recipes and patient centric diet counselling. She has been associated very closely with conducting screening and awareness camps for MDRC and actively participated in the AUTISM conference.

Gomathi Sundar is a research consultant and medical writer with over 25 years of experience in the field of healthcare. Her interests are in designing studies, protocol-writing, research reports, and manuscript writing for publications.

Ms. Sundar created Right Research Academy due to a long-felt need of creating a single hub that would benefit postgraduates in healthcare, novice researchers, and medical companies alike. With experience supporting all the three throughout her career, Ms. Sundar understands the strengths, limitations, and needs of each of these groups. She has worked in Madras Medical Mission, Chennai, GKNM, Coimbatore, CARE Hospital, Hyderabad, and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, London. Besides, she has worked as a consultant to many pharmaceutical and medical device companies.

Mr. Sivakumar did his B.S.Physician Assistant at Madras Medical Mission- Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences (1997-2001) and M.E Biotechnology at Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences (2002-2003). He has worked in Pediatric Intensive care at Chennai, Bioinformatics from various organizations in Bangalore and Pharmacovigilance from Pharma MNCs in Chennai and Hyderabad. He is a Co-Author of 2 national publication in the field of Cardiovascular Disease.

Mr. Manoj Kumar Lenka has completed his Bachelor of Physician assistant from Rabindranath Tagore Institute of Cardiac Sciences, Kolkata in the year 2012. He completed his MBA in Hospital management from Jaipur National University in 2018. From the period of 2013 to 2015,  he worked as a Physician Assistant in Cardiac development in NH, Jamshedpur. From 2015 to 2021, he worked as a Physician assistant in department of Neurosurgery and Orthopaedics Onco Surgery in NH, Howrah. Currently he is working as a Physician assistant in department of orthopaedic oncology in Medica cancer hospital, Kolkata.

Mr. Manoj Kumar has completed his B.Sc. Physician assistant in 2017 from Vijaya Educational Academy, Dr. MGR university. Currently he is working as Physician assistant in CTVS ICU department in Medanta -Medicity, Haryana since 2019. He worked as a Physician assistant in Vascular Surgery and Renal Transplant MMM hospital, Chennai from 2018 to 2019. Earlier, he worked as a Physician assistant in Vascular Surgery department in Vijaya hospital, Chennai from 2017 to 2018.
